SHOOTER BIO

I have been hunting and shooting since I was a kid and I am always willing to learn how to become a better hunter and shooter, whether that's from gaining knowledge through experience or others. Someone wise once told me you don't know what you don't know. I never addressed stability at a young age, I just assumed that's the way it was when hunting or shooting, you never can get a stable position. I did know however when to take an ethical shot, or the extension of my limitations shooting at targets. I came across the PRS scene in 2022 and remember what it felt like when I picked up my first precision rifle. I knew I wanted one, and couldn't believe how much it weighed. From there I fell into the rabbit hole. I first upped my hunting game with the simple use of a bag in the stand. What a difference that made and now I don't go anywhere without one, may have a couple that have a permanent home in each location. I became more successful at taking down predators and feral pigs with greater confidence after teaching myself how to better understand the fundamentals of shooting and having a greater appreciation of stability, of course with the additional help of modern technology and fun added extras that help increase the potential for a successful hunt. After understanding some basic fundamentals that I was on the right track for hunting I still had an itch to be able to prove to myself that shooting could be something fun to do when not focusing on a hunt. I went to a couple of PRS Rimfire and Centerfire matches and saw an opportunity to learn some more. I got my first .22LR from DI Precision January of 2024 and have been looking forward to getting started in PRS Rimfire competition for the past several years since I first learned about this sport. I'm always willing to learn a new skill and better myself through those willing to help teach me and hope that I can help build some confidence to someone just like me when I first came across this exiting new venture.
