SHOOTER BIO
I started long distance shooting in 2010 while I was still in college. I reloaded .223 Remington for years on a 2 ft by 2 ft bench I made out of scrap lumber. I mostly used long distance shooting as a way to hit prairie dogs at farther and farther distances. In 2017 I went to my first PRS 1 day match. I sucked, but I loved it. With practice I improved enough to attend my first Pro matches in 2018. My goal in 2019 was to finish top 10 at the PRS finale which I failed to do. I achieved that goal in 2020. In 2021 my goal was to bring home the golden bullet, which I failed to do. In 2022 I achieved that goal. My goal for 2023 is to shoot consistently to the best of my ability at every match I attend. I also plan to have a lot of fun along the way!
Austin has shot 99 total PRS matches, of which 60 are Pro Series matches. Austin hails from Hooker, Oklahoma and has 8 years of experience shooting in the PRS. This shooter's best Pro Series finish was at the 2023 Leupold Steel Classic PRS Match - Ag Qualifier match in 2023 where they finished 1 out of 215 shooters.
