The WAR Rifles / Geissele Precision matches are for newer and experienced shooters. We host matches that will test all aspects of long range marksmanship.

Welcome to W.A.R. Rifles / Geissele Match 1. Shooters will engage targets out to 1250 yards and expect to shoot a total of 10 stages. Please bring 110 rounds of ammunition (additional ammo is suggested if you need to zero). Par time will be 110 seconds (1min 50sec) for each stage. Please be prepared for an unlimited round skill stage as well.
It is expected of you as a shooter to have a rifle capable of 1 MOA accuracy or better, adjustable/exposed turrets for dialing elevation and windage adjustments, and also an understanding of your rifle ballistics and verified data to accurately shoot 1250 yards.
The match will utilize roving RO's, this means one lead RO will be assigned to each squad and they will take the lead on scoring and spotting. It’s expected for everyone to chip in and help out. Please bring binos / spotters if you have one. Safety is are largest concern, please be attentive during the brief.
Lunch will be provided to all shooters around 12pm. Please bring the necessary snacks needed to sustain throughout the day. Cold water will be in coolers throughout the range.
Camping is available on Friday and Saturday. You must contact me beforehand to let me know. Camping areas will change throughout the season. 703-898-2526

FRIDAY: Optional
Train-up: 3:30 to 6:30pm
SATURDAY: Optional
After the Geissele Gas Gun Series match is over. Usually around 3:30. The range will go hot for anyone that wants to check dope. The range will go cold at 6:30pm
SUNDAY: Match Day
Registration / Check in: 0700 at the Geissele Truck, range is hot to check zero and dope. No props can be utilized Sunday morning.
