Southwest Regional Finale

EVENT DETAILS

Precision rifle competition hosted by AZLRPRS at CowTown Range. Participants will need 100 rifle rounds for the competition. Target distances will be between 100 yards and 1000+ yards. Events will take place on the upper west shooting platforms.

We understand that things happen, but we also want to ensure there are registration spots available for people who will show up, so please contact the match directors through Practiscore to withdraw to ensure your registration is removed and the spot is opened for someone else if you cannot make the match. This should be done no later that Wednesday prior to the match date.

Registration will be done solely through Practiscore. Check-in will be from 0630-0645. Rounds go downrange starting at 0700, rain or sweltering shine. Rifles should be capable of holding 1MOA. Calibers limited to anything between .223 and .30cal (300WM) and may not exceed 3200 fps in velocity.

Please be sure to bring hearing and eye protection (required). Bring plenty of water and electrolytes. Knee and elbow pads are recommended. Chamber flags are required. If you do not have one, some may be available onsite.

Trophies will be presented for Top 3 Overall, Top Production, Top Tactical, Top Junior, Top Mil/LE, and Top Lady after the steel has been torn down and props put away. There will be a few prizes as well (must be present to win). After the the match tear down & awards, we will meet at Wild Horse West for cold drinks and good food.

Scores for the match will be posted through Practiscore within 24 hours of the match ending and will be submitted to the Precision Rifle Series for the Southwest Regional scores. For 2019, a new rule change by the Precision Rifle Series means if you'd like your score to count for regional points which will allow you to gain entry into the PRS Finale in November, you must be a paid regional series member. The cost for a regional membership is $40 through www.precisionrifleseries.com.

** All registrations MUST be completed prior to arriving at CowTown.** Each squad will have two "pro" and/or "semi-pro" competitors placed on each squad by the MD's prior to squadding being opened. All competitors are expected to assist the squad leaders with scoring, spotting, and running the clock. Scores will be double checked via the Practiscore Competitor app for any edits.

You have until Friday evening at 8pm to register. Please be sure you're able to attend PRIOR to registering. If you can't make it, for the love of all that is holy, withdraw as soon as you know you can't make it so someone on the wait list will have advance notice to change their plans.
