Welcome shooters to the 8th annual Pancake Lake Precision Open presented by Engage Precision!

New to the 2025 season is that we have joined the Precision Rifle Series. We will be hosting one of several Pro Series Matches in Canada this year.

What has not changed is that this will a friendly match designed by a couple guys who love the sport and want to create a fun event for everyone to come hit some steel, have some laughs, and ultimately just have fun! We always welcomed shooters of all ages and skill levels. This is a great event to attend, shoot, build some skills and get your feet wet in the wonderful world of long range precision shooting. You do not need the best of the best gear to compete at our match!

We promise a fun but challenging event for all skill levels.

This will be a two day field style long range match. We will include a couple PRS skills stages throughout the course of fire. Stages will be spread out over a few hundred yard radius. Shooters will be expected to carry gear from stage to stage.

Friday the 25th will be a “Train Up’ day. From 12pm - 6pm. Shooters can live fire from any stage prop they choose. Shooters will not know any of the actual course of fire details during the train up time. Target sizes and distances will be different that actual course of fire.

July 26th, 27th. Match Fees $250cdn paid via Impact scoring when registering.

8 miles south east of Killarney, Mb near Pancake Lake/ Hwy #3. 7 miles North of the USA Border.

Junction of road 94W and 7N.

1 mile north of Hwy #3 on 94W. Road will be marked with Orange IPSC Targets.


Rifle zeroing can begin Friday July 25th at 12pm or at 7:00 am each day.

Match books will be given out Friday after the Range closes and Saturday morning before the match starts.

Range Brief starts at 8:00am each day

8-10 stages per day

Stages will be RO'ed.

If there are any squad requests please contact match directors. We will do our best to accommodate.

May host side match Saturday Night. 20-40 rounds.

Camping spots available at match location. No water or electricity.

Portable Toilets at the match.

Shooters wanting to camp are welcome to show up Friday.

Match directors will be going around during the event Saturday and Sunday with water.

Shooters will NOT participate until all match fees are paid. E- transfers will not be excepted on match day as cell reception is very limited at match sight.

USA COMPETITORS.
We suggest flying into Minot North Dakota and then crossing the Dunseith/Boissevain 24hr Port of Entry. As for proper permitting for firearms please see the PRS website for details. ( It is very easy to cross the border into Canada with firearms)
