EVENT DETAILS
The Twisted Barrel Scorcher event will be a 2 day PRS Pro Series competition will be designed to be a fun, fair, yet challenging course of fire. The match design will have an even mix of positional and prone/ modified prone stage positions with challenging but doable sizes and sequences. Props will be sturdy yet testing. Chamber flags, bolt back, and magazines out will be mandatory unless active on the firing line actively engaging targets. Expect up to 20 stages with up to 200 rounds in the course of fire plus whatever tune up ammo you feel you need.
Friday- Check in is from noon to 5pm at the office. Range A and Range Z will be open for, tune up and zeroing Noon to 5pm and is free! Shooters will receive a match book with the described course of fire after they are done zeroing and tuning up.
Saturday- Safety Brief at 7:00am. Rounds down range by 730am. Lunch is at noon. Dinner will follow end of day 1.
Sunday- Show up and be ready to shoot at 7:00am. Lunch at noon. Awards and prize table on site following completion of the match.
Feel free to hang out and enjoy some festivities Friday and Friday evening. Dinner will be provided Saturday night. Lunches will be provided both Saturday and Sunday.
Contact us directly at 5014706460 for RV power and water slots that will be available. We have 10 hookups with power and water available for the weekend for rent. Feel free to boondock (non power) in the designated areas. Contact us prior to arrival for the location of these designated areas.
Shooters must go to www.twistedbarrelprecision.com and esign the hold harmless form on the members guest link on the main page. This needs to be done before arrival to the match.
*Participants will need to take the Fouche Dam Pike exit off of HWY 440 and head south.Stay straight to remain on Thibault Road. Then take a right on Harper Road. Remain on Harper Road until you reach the facility. If you take any other route, you will run the risk of being held up by a stopped train in the industrial area.
Competitors can fly into the Little Rock International airport and be within 10 min of the range. There are plenty of hotels at and close to the airport.
