The ALTUS Rimfire Challenge Series was designed to serve to draw new shooters to precision shooting while also being family friendly shooting event. These matches will count towards the PRS Rimfire Series regional points.

2024 Altus Rimfire Challenge Series

The Altus Rimfire Challenge Series is an PRS Rimfire format shooting competition that is designed to test practical precision rifle shooting in various scenarios and applications. Participants will be expected to understand both their rifle-ammunition system and their own abilities throughout the 8-stage course of fire, as some stages may allow the shooter choice of target(s) or require the shooter to know their limits to maximize stage success. Competitors can expect engagements from 50-350yards at an assortment of steel, reactive, and moving targets. Target sizes will vary in difficulty based on the shooters position, distance, props used and time allotted.
