EVENT DETAILS
Kettlefoot rod and gun club will be hosting a “long range” .22 match under the Precision Rifle Series Rimfire umbrella. The match will challenge shooters with multiple positions, target distances, and target sizes with the course of fire that ranges from 25 to 300+ Yards.
PRS competitions are designed to test a shooter’s ability to shoot accurately, correct for
environmental factors effectively, and solve practical and tactical based challenges and problems quickly. Shooters will need to have an accurate, reliable rifle with ballistic data to ~300 yards.
Required Equipment:
- A rifle chambered in .22lr (NO .22 Magnum or 17HMR) that has detachable magazines or a tubular magazine capacity of 15. Semi Auto/Bolt Action/Lever action are all acceptable.
- A scope that can provide target acquisition, with elevations and holdovers out to 300 yards.
- Bipod (No bench rests).
- Rear and front support bags.
- Chamber flag that goes into the chamber (through the action well is not acceptable)
- Approximately 100 rounds of ammunition (120 to be safe)
- Ballistics for scope/rifle/ammo combination
Registration starts at 8am
Match will begin at 9am
