Registration for the Big Dog Steel Buckeye Classic Precision Rifle Series Sanctioned Match will open on February 16th @ noon EST. The match dates will be May 15th-16th. The match will be held at Southington Hunt Club in Garrettsville, Ohio.

This match is a Pro Series National Event.

Big Dog Steel will be directing the match. More details will come as the course of fire is developed, but expect a fun match that will test basic marksmanship skills across a broad spectrum of stages and ranges.

Please take note, Match Registration Fees are not refundable. However, your match registration is transferable up to 14 days prior to the match. Any and all transfers after will not be honored. When the match fills to capacity you will no longer be able to register on the website. Competitors wishing to be placed on a waiting list should email, [email protected] and will be notified if a slot becomes available.

Friday (05/14) - 8am until 1pm RO Match

1pm until 5pm Registration + Sponsor Demo Day Zero Range/Train-up Day

(Competitors wishing to participate in the Train-Up day should bring $20, exact change please) Train-Up will offer Barricades, Obstacles, Zero Range and Data Gathering out to 1k yards.

Saturday (05/15) 7:45am - Mandatory Safety and Stage Briefing

8:30am - First Shots Fired

Noon - Provided Lunch delivered to shooting areas

5:00pm - Wrap up of first days stages

Sunday (05/16)

8:00am - Plan to arrive no later than this. If you arrive after we have started shooting for the day you may not be able to shoot.

4:00pm - Conclusion of Match

We ask that you try and make registration on Friday, if at all possible. If for some reason you are not able to make the Friday registration please contact us by the Thursday prior to the match. We may or may not be able to get reception at the facility.

Provided by us:

Lunch will be provided on Saturday. Water will be provided both days. Every participant and RO will receive a custom match t-shirt. Trophies will be provided for the top finishers. We will provide the best prize table possible. Participants will walk in order of finish.

Scoring:

Scoring will be kept track of on Practiscore. Participants will approve their score before leaving a stage. Practiscore allows us to quickly calculate and score competitors as well as significantly speed up the time it takes to calculate final scores, and start the awards ceremony on Sunday. All rifle shots will be worth 1pt and scoring for the match will abide by PRS sanctioned rules.
