EVENT DETAILS

The ALTUS Long Range Challenge Series is a one day Precision Rifle competition that incorporates a challenging course of fire. Stages will be designed with an emphasis to test the precision rifle shooter on accuracy, time, and gear management. This year, the Long Range Challenge Series has graduated from an 8 stage match to a 10 stage match, making it comparable to half of a 2 day National Level PRS Match. Competitors can expect engagements from 100-1000yards at an assortment of steel, reactive, and moving targets. Target sizes will vary in difficulty based on the shooters position, distance, props used and time allotted. Our one-day matches are designed to accommodate shooters of all abilities. Lunch is provided to all of the shooters for each one of the matches. A maximum of 120 rounds will be required to complete the course of fire and caliber is restricted to 300 Win Mag and below. Muzzle velocity cannot exceed 3150 FPS. At the conclusion of every match in the series, scores will be posted online at http://www.practiscore.com

Top Law Enforcement shooter

SERIES SCORING AND FINALE:

Each shooter who competes in the series will have their two best finishes in the series totaling (60%) of their score going into the finale each season with will be weighted at (40%).

EXAMPLE: Match Score 1 (30%) + Match Score 3 (30%) + Finale Score (40%) = (100%) and Shooter’s Final Series Standing.
