Moss Branch 22rimfire Precision Rifle Match LOCATION- Moss Branch Shooting Range 419 Alexis Ln. Anniston, AL 36201 When- August 24th, September 7th, October 5th, November 2nd, December 7th 2024 Time- registration begins at 9am. There is a mandatory safety meeting as soon as all shooters have registered. First stage will begin after the safety meeting. ( usually by 10am Cost- $10 per entry. (Only one entry per person per class allowed) Awards- 50% of the entry fee in each class will be awarded as prizes (1 place per every 5 shooters in the class) Course of Fire - 3 to 4 stages of 10 -12 rounds each fired in a time limit (usually 120 seconds per stage) at targets from 1/4 inch in diameter up to 6 inches, placed at distances from 35 yards to 125 yards. You will be shooting off various shooting props such as barricades, roof tops, tank traps, benches, chairs, tires, buckets, etc. Rifle Classes - 22 rimfire only OPEN- No weight limit, no sight restriction. Precision Sporter- weight limit 10 pounds. No sight restriction. Magazine feed, tube feed allowed. Plinker- weight limit 7pounds. Magnification limit 9 power. Magazine or tube feed, single shot allowed. All classes- Bag rest for both front and rear of the rifle may be used.
